Software Engineer & QA

In August 2024 I joined Transforming Legal through a referral and spent roughly four to five months there through late 2024. The company builds legal-tech products for clients — including API platforms and related tooling — with a distributed team spanning Germany, India, Malaysia, Thailand, and beyond.

My core focus was software development and testing: writing test scripts and automation suites for client APIs, exercising shipped products, and feeding back concrete recommendations. Alongside that I contributed odd but useful product work — input on the Transforming Legal website and intermittent help on BrainUp, their educational platform.

The cadence was intentionally flexible and cross-functional. It was a strong stretch in QA automation, API testing discipline, and collaborating inside a global remote engineering culture.
