Rahul Gupta

I am Rahul Gupta, a software engineer based in India. I build production web applications for clients and employers, with a focus on modern React stacks, type-safe backends, and deployment on Cloudflare Workers. This site is my portfolio: projects, writing, work history, and ways to reach me.

Professionally, I work as a developer at Dark Alpha Capital, a private equity independent sponsor firm, where I ship internal tools and customer-facing products. I use TanStack Start, Drizzle ORM, D1, R2, and Better Auth on Cloudflare, and I also build mobile apps with Expo and React Native for side projects and client work.

Before and alongside that role, I have freelanced on Upwork — blog platforms, marketing sites, and full-stack apps for startups and small businesses. I care about performance, clear architecture, and documentation that helps future maintainers (including AI agents) understand how systems work.
