Technical Lead & Full Stack Developer

I joined Dark Alpha Capital in 2024 through freelance work with Destiny Aghde, supporting his private equity firm end to end. What began as website and assistant work grew into recruiting, operations, and eventually full-time software ownership as the team scaled.

Early on I helped ship the firm's public site, ran candidate pipelines, coordinated interviews, managed email outreach for events, and acted as a personal technical assistant. As needs expanded, I moved from project-based delivery into hourly and then part-time product engineering — owning full-stack work across the firm's internal tools.

Internship leadership

Starting in summer 2025 I led Dark Alpha's internship programs: roughly 10–12 college interns in summer 2025, about 15 in the fall/winter cohort, and another teaching-focused batch in summer 2026. Most interns were first- and second-year students from the US. My role was hands-on mentorship — assigning full-stack work, recommending learning resources, reviewing code, and shipping real firm projects with them.

Early teaching stack centered on React, Next.js, Vercel, and Neon Postgres. Today I lead a broader technical group in close collaboration with GTM, investment, and deal-flow teams while continuing to mentor a smaller summer cohort.

Current product work

The portfolio I lead sits in mid-to-late delivery across four major systems:

  • Deal Flow — Deal intake and pipeline tooling integrated with Bitrix CRM. Documents attach to deals, get indexed into a vector store through RAG pipelines, and power AI agents for screening and ongoing analysis as new information lands. Built on Cloudflare and TanStack.
  • Investor Portal — An independent-sponsor portal where investors onboard with KYC document uploads, get admin-verified, browse live deals, and pledge capital. Static content is managed in Prismic; KYC uploads run through Cloudflare Workflows into a private Nextcloud instance. Stack: TanStack Start, TypeScript, Drizzle, Cloudflare D1 (SQLite), Cloudflare hosting.
  • HR Automation — A hiring data model covering positions, interview rounds, and question banks. Candidates can be invited to AI voice interviews via generated links. Real-time sessions use WebRTC and Cloudflare Durable Objects against OpenAI's voice APIs; recordings land in Nextcloud and trigger automatic fit analysis after each interview.
  • Meeting intelligence (open-source Granola / Otter alternative) — Because the firm is remote-heavy and mostly meets on Google Meet, we are building our own meeting bot for attendance, transcription, summaries, and action items. A second goal is a centralized knowledge base so internal AI agents have durable context across communications. A third is searchable, date-ordered meeting history for follow-up and inference.

Across all of this I sit at the intersection of product engineering, mentoring, and cross-functional delivery with investment and GTM stakeholders.
